Hello! I'm Meridith LaVelle, a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science and International Affairs at the University of Georgia. My primary research interests broadly include tech and politics, political violence, human rights, political economy, and quantitative research methods. I am the Director of the GLOBIS Human Rights Research Lab at the University of Georgia, the Digital Rights Lead at the Human Rights Measurement Initiative (HRMI), and a member of the Civil and Political Rights team at HRMI.
