Hello! I'm Meridith LaVelle, a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science and International Affairs at the University of Georgia. My primary research interests include human rights, political violence, contentious politics, political economy, and quantitative research methods. I am the Director of the GLOBIS Human Rights Research Lab at the University of Georgia and a member of the Civil and Political Rights team at the Human Rights Measurement Initiative.
